Saluton from Radaro!
Although there has been significant changes to future Esperanto events, I believe it is good to settle our minds with things that never change. One thing that Esperantists will always passionately discuss are the minutae of the language! Issues about loan words and pronouns are ever-present and Chloe has supplied a fascinating list of words that some would consider to be “problematic.” Videos regarding language proficiency and tie collections also help to keep a sense of normalcy in Esperantujo but feel free to keep up with our community’s incredible ability to adapt to these strange times. Once again, welcome!

Website of the Week
by Chloe Everhart
The website of the week is this list named, “1001 unnecessary roots.” I love it because I love the simplicity of Esperanto. In my opinion, we have to protect the fundamentals of our language, as Claude Piron wrote in La Bona Lingvo, against the multiplicity of borrowed words, especially against the imperialistic tendencies of Greek and Latin. We must follow the fundamentals, or we’ll need a new language, which everyone can learn by its simplicity.
